An operating method of a system on chip (SoC) according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of measuring the throughput of a graphic processing unit (GPU); comparing the frame processing speed of the GPU with the frame rate of a display device; and determining the operating frequency of the GPU based on a comparison result and the throughput of the GPU.
