The accessory (1) has individual circular openings comprising diameter corresponding to teeth of a comb, where the accessory is in shape of a bar having 0.5 cm to 2 cm wide for thickness of 0.3 cm to 0.6 cm and variable length according to type and a template of the comb. Longitudinal openings i.e. broad slots, have diameter of a tooth and length to allow aligned teeth to pass through, where the accessory lengthily delivers optimal quantity of anti-ectoparasite lipophilic active agent on hair or bristles in a dry state by friction during combing or brushing. An independent claim is also included for a method for obtaining an interchangeable anti-ectoparasite accessory for combs or brushes or human and animal use devices.
