A device for printing a succession of sheets, includes a platen press for depositing colored or metalized film on each sheet by stamping between a stationary platen and a movable platen. A heating element brings a stamping tool integral with the stationary platen to a given temperature for a stamping operation. The heating element is displaced between an operating position, which is between the stationary platen and each stamping tool associated with that platen, and a maintenance position in which the heating element is outside the platen press. |
