PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of creating a comfortable temperature environment.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 12 includes: a main body unit 25; and auxiliary casings 26. The main body unit 25 forms a first diffuser 31 blowing out either cold air or hot air. Each of the auxiliary casings 26 is attached movably to at least one side of the first diffuser 31, and forms a second diffuser 56 blowing out captured indoor air. A control circuit controls a second air direction plate 57 so that a second reference plane PL2 specifying an air direction of the second air direction plate 57 crosses a first reference plane PL1 specifying an air direction of a first air direction plate 39 downstream of the flow of the air.
