PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide indole derivative compounds for use in treating diseases involving overexpressed or unregulated Mcl-1 protein.SOLUTION: The 7-nonsubstituted indole derivative compounds as Mc-1 inhibitors is represented by the formula (1), where L1 is a bond or is alkylene, alkenylene or alkynylene; A1 is C(O)OH, or a bioisostere thereof, or is C(O)OR1, C(O)OR2, C(O)OR3 or C(O)OR4. The compounds are effective as therapeutic agents for cancer and leukemia. |
