The cover (10) has a disk (12) releasably held in a frame (11) by springy brackets (13) and attachable to a vessel, where the brackets are attached in the frame with ends (13.1, 13.2). The brackets form a retaining space with insertion- and release bevels for retaining an edge of the disk. The brackets are flexed from a wire. The disk is formed of a coaster made of pressed paper layers. The frame comprises a planar peripheral surface such that the cover is openable on the peripheral surface. The insertion bevel comprises a larger slope than that of the release bevel.
