PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting device capable of easily transporting members, heavy equipment, and the like without using a tower crane, and a demolition method using the lifting device for a building.SOLUTION: A lifting device comprises: an outside frame body 12 having the substantially same height dimension as that of plural stories of a building 1; an inside frame body 14 housed in the outside frame body 12 in a nesting state, movable upward from the outside frame body 12 and including a load-carrying platform; a climbing mechanism 16 provided between the outside frame body 12 and the inside frame body 14, and lifting the inside frame body 14 relatively to the outside frame body 12; and outriggers 20a, 20b, 22 respectively provided on side parts of the outside frame body 12 and the inside frame body 14 so as to be freely protruded and retracted from/to the side parts, and fixing and supporting the outside frame body 12 and the inside frame body 14 to the building 1, respectively. |
