METHOD FOR CORRECTING DIASTASIS OF RECTUS MUSCLES OF ABDOMEN IN ABDOMINOPLASTY

A method for correcting diastasis of rectus muscles of abdomen in the abdominoplasty comprises the application of the uninterrupted blanket suture onto the anterior walls of both sheathes of rectus muscles of abdomen. In approaching omphalus, the loop-shaped suture is applied at the level of the upper edge of the umbilical stem. The ligature is applied on the anterior wall of the sheath of rectus muscle of abdomen without encircling the contralateral wall. Upon exiting the umbilical area, the loop-shaped suture is applied at the level of the lower edge of the umbilical stem, and the uninterrupted blanket suture follows sewing the anterior walls of both sheathes of rectus muscles of abdomen.
