PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical wiring component capable of coupling an optical waveguide to another optical component with high coupling efficiency while suppressing deterioration of transmission efficiency, and a reliable electronic device including the optical wiring component.SOLUTION: An optical wiring component 10 includes an optical waveguide 1 and a ferrule 5. The ferrule 5 has a through hole 50 passing through from one end to the other end, and the tip portion of the optical waveguide 1 is inserted into the through hole 50. The through hole 50 is defined by a groove 501 formed on the body 50 of the ferrule 5 and a lower surface 521 of a lid body 52 provided to close an opening portion of the groove 501. In the tip portion of the optical waveguide 1, a lower surface 101 is fixed to a bottom surface 5011 of the groove 501 via an adhesive layer 55, an upper surface 102 is fixed to the lower surface 521 of the lid body 52 via an adhesive layer 56, and both side faces 103, 103 are separated from side faces 5012, 5012 of the groove 501. |
