摘要 According to an aspect, a display device with a touch detection function includes a controller, touch wiring that supplies a touch drive signal to drive electrodes, and a plurality of switch groups that are provided for each of the drive electrodes, each of the plurality of switch groups having selection switches. The plurality of switch groups select a drive electrode to be coupled to a touch wiring based on a selection signal from the controller. The selection switches for each of the plurality of switch groups are coupled in parallel with each other between a corresponding drive electrode and the touch wiring, and for each of the drive electrodes, all of the selection switches operate in accordance with the selection signal, couple the corresponding drive electrodes and the touch wiring, and apply the touch drive signal to the corresponding drive electrodes.

A display device with a touch detection function, comprising: a display area including a plurality of pixel electrodes arranged in a matrix on a substrate; a plurality of drive electrodes that are disposed to face at least one of the plurality of pixel electrodes; a display function layer that has an image display function to display an image in the display area; a controller that performs image display control to fulfill the image display function of the display function layer by applying a display drive voltage between the plurality of pixel electrodes and the plurality of drive electrodes based on an image signal; a plurality of touch detection electrodes that face the plurality of drive electrodes, and form an electrostatic capacitance between the plurality of drive electrodes and the plurality of touch detection electrodes; a touch detection unit that detects a position of an approaching object based on a detection signal from the plurality of touch detection electrodes; touch wiring that is routed in a frame area located outside the display area and supplies a touch drive signal to the plurality of drive electrodes; and a plurality of switch groups that are provided for each of the plurality of drive electrodes, each of the plurality of switch groups having a plurality of selection switches that operate based on a selection signal from the controller, wherein the plurality of switch groups select a drive electrode to be coupled to the touch wiring from the plurality of drive electrodes based on a selection signal from the controller, and the plurality of selection switches for each of the plurality of switch groups are coupled in parallel with each other between a corresponding drive electrode and the touch wiring, and for each of the plurality of drive electrodes, all of the plurality of selection switches operate in accordance with the selection signal, couple the corresponding drive electrodes and the touch wiring, and apply the touch drive signal to the corresponding drive electrodes.
