The applied beet-harvesting machine at least with one haulm chopper, having rotary chopping elements, and a rotary structure group or suchlike, arranged behind the said chopper in the moving direction, acting as a secondary cleaner. With the aid of said units prior to the process of digging tuberous roots the corresponding tops and suchlike parts of beet heads are removed from the crop being harvested. The beet-harvesting machine is optimized with the aid of two tools, rotational in the opposite directions, in such a manner that the crop being harvested is treated up to the digging readiness on the account of full cleaning of the beet head. |
