PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode for an electricity storage device having an outstanding discharge characteristic and excelled in preservability and handling property regardless of oxidation state of polyaniline which is a positive active material.SOLUTION: A positive electrode for an electricity storage device includes polyaniline. The percentage of the polyaniline oxidant is 0.01 to 75% relative to the overall polyaniline in the positive electrode.
