The present invention relates to an antibiotic protein isolated from a novel microorganism strain and a production condition therefor, and more specifically, to a method for producing an antibiotic protein having antimicrobial activity from the Lysinibacillus sp. strain and a production condition therefor. The antibiotic protein prepared by the method of the present invention has an antibiotic activity on gram-positive bacteria, so that an antibacterial agent or vaccine containing the antibiotic protein as an active ingredient can be produced. Further, the Lysinibacillus sp. strain Y-4B KCTC 1228BP is isolated from rotten citrus, and thus the rotten citrus and citrus byproducts are utilized to produce antibiotic protein, thereby effectively treating the citrus byproducts. |
