METHOD FOR INSTRUMENTAL DIAGNOSIS OF PAIN SENSITIVITY OF ROOT PULP AND STATE OF ROOT CANAL IN TREATMENT OF PULPITIS BY DEVITAL EXTIRPATION TECHNIQUE

A method for the instrumental diagnosis of the pain sensitivity of the root pulp and the state of the root canal in the treatment of pulpitis by devital extirpation technique provides for the insertion of the probe into the narrow root canal following the extraction of the pulp. In case of pain sensation, the additional anesthesia is provided. The probe is passed to the whole length of the canal. The canal is examined for detection of the possible narrow sites and the folds allowing for the use of the corresponding endodontic instruments for the removal of the root pulp preventing the possible complications.
