摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease resources used for transmitting parameters related to retransmission control and reduce overhead of signaling for retransmission control to improve the throughput.SOLUTION: In a case where a retransmission control method assuming adaptive MCS control with a variable encoding rate is employed, an MCS (Modulation and Coding Scheme) is set at a scheduling unit according to a CQI indicated by a communication destination device. When transmission data is encoded, an RV (redundancy version) parameter bit number setting unit sets a smaller number of bits used for signaling of an RV parameter as the encoding rate at initial transmission is smaller, and sets the RV parameter with the number of bits. For example, when the encoding rate R is R>2/3, the number of bits is set to 2 bits, and when the encoding rate R is 1/3<R&le;2/3, the number of bits is set to 1 bit, and when the encoding rate R is R&le;1/3, the number of bits is set to 0 bit.
