FRESH WATER GENERATING EQUIPMENT FOR VESSELS BY USING WASTE HEAT

PURPOSE: A fresh water generating equipment using the waste heat of a ship is provided to effectively reduce the consumption of energy sources such as electricity, fuel, and others inputted in a water generator. CONSTITUTION: A fresh water generating equipment comprises an exhaust gas heat source collecting part and a waste heat supplied amount control part. The exhaust gas heat source collecting part collects heat energy wasted from the exhaust gas of a diesel engine(34). When a main engine(10) does not operate, the waste heat supplied amount control part controls the heat energy collected by the exhaust gas heat source collecting part to supply the heat energy to a water generator(16).
