A triboelectrostatic separator comprises a working chamber that is divided into separate sections, inside each section charging devices are mounted in the form of corners made of semiconducting material installed by edges opposite to the motion of material being separated. Charging corners are made of a material which is chosen so that the work function is between the work functions of the materials of particles being separated. The device comprises a system of parallel to each other deflecting flat grounded electrodes and installed between them high voltage electrodes, additional charging devices and deflection electrodes. The grounded deflecting electrodes are made in the form of boxes with horizontal slits (gates). Additional charging devices are located below the slots in the direction of travel of separated material. The boxes of grounded electrodes are connected to the collector of the first product, which is charged, for example, positively. The device has the second receiving dielectric box for collection of particles deflected towards the high voltage electrode on either side located directly beneath this electrode and a branch pipe connected to an external collector for discharging the second product of separation, the particles of separated material that are not deflected by electric field are collected in the third collector. The device has a fan made with possibility of generation of rarefication in the device for the purpose of transporting products and dust collection. |
