The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for measuring strain in a boiler tube, which is appropriate to prevent damage to the tube caused by a temperature variation in a boundary portion between a furnace water wall and a steam cooled wall during a boiler operation. The method for measuring strain in a boiler tube is characterized in that, in a boiler tube panel comprising a membrane bar attached between tubes, wherein a portion of the membrane bar is formed into an inclined plate, a strain gauge is installed at an inflection point portion of the inclined plate and the membrane bar to measure strain rates in the water wall and the steam cooled wall, thereby predicting the possibility of bursting of the tube. |
