The present invention relates to a novel refined material separated from an extract of Pseudolysimachion rotundum var. subintegrum and a composition including the same as an active ingredient for preventing or treating inflammation, allergy, and asthma. The novel refined material according to the present invention includes high content catalpol derivatives of which the content has been remarkably increased through a production method according to the present invention, so that eosinocytes are increased and the secretion of immunoglobulin and inflammatory chemokine can be effectively controlled in a mouse ovalbumin-induced asthma animal model. Accordingly, the novel refined material can be useful as a pharmaceutical composition, a health functional food, or a heath supplemental food for preventing or treating inflammation, allergy, and asthma.
