A touch screen device according to the present invention made of a limited number of metallic materials and having a mesh form of a single layer structure includes a plurality of vertical location sensing cells formed at certain intervals on a substrate; horizontal location sensing cells electrically isolated from the vertical location sensing cells and formed side by side to be adjacent to the vertical location sensing cells; a plurality of first signal wires among which n (equal to or larger than 2) vertical location sensing cells are arranged and which are commonly connected to two vertical location sensing cells; a second signal wire connected to the vertical location sensing cells; and a pad unit having a signal pad that is formed on one side of the substrate and connected to the first signal wires and the second signal wire, wherein each of the vertical location sensing cell and the horizontal location sensing cell is formed on the same layer of the substrate to have a mesh form.
