PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To erase files at high speed sequentially by reducing an overhead used when overwrite-erasing the files for the unit of a block by utilizing a file system. SOLUTION: An overwrite-erasure daemon creates a sequential overwrite-erasure file information list (S2) if a file is registered in a sequential overwrite-erasure directory (S1), and if a file size included in the sequential overwrite-erasure file information list is not "0" (S3), the overwrite-erasure daemon carries out overwrite-erasure processing for one file by utilizing the sequential overwrite-erasure file information list (S4), cancels the relation between the sequential overwrite-erasure file information list and the file (S5), and finishes the processing when processing is completed for the number of sequential overwrite-erasure file information lists (S6).
