摘要 An optical scanning apparatus includes first 21a, 21d and second 21b, 21c light source units including respective light sources. A rotating polygon mirror (5, figure 2) performs deflection scanning of laser beams emitted from the light sources included in the first and second light source units. A positioning member includes a first abutting portion 31A, 31B, 32A, 32B, 41A, 41B, 42A, and 42B, on which the first light source unit abuts and a second abutting portion 51A, 51B, 52A, 52B, 61A, 61B, 62A, and 62B on which the second light source unit abuts, the positioning member positioning the first and second light source units. The first and second light source units are positioned by the positioning member and arranged next to each other in a rotation axis direction Z of the rotating polygon mirror. The positioning member is a single member disposed between the first and second light source units in the rotation axis direction. The apparatus is formed in a moulding operation integrally with a support portion for the rotating polygon mirror.
