<p>The assembly includes an ironing board having a work surface 9 for supporting a fabric 19 to be hand-ironed thereon. A collecting element 15 is for collecting and storing the fabric once ironed. The collecting element is connected to the ironing board and operable to draw the fabric across the work surface towards itself. The collecting element may include a roller for winding the fabric around. A second roller (23, Figure 3) may be used as a dispensing element for dispensing the fabric towards the work surface. The collecting element may be an accessory for a domestic ironing board or alternatively in a kit of parts which includes the collecting element and ironing board.</p> |
