Disclosed are a molding material for the exterior of a building and a manufacturing method thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is the molding material for the exterior of a building comprising: foamed polystyrene multiple body units, which are longitudinally combined to each other and installed on the outer wall of a building, and which include a rear unit combined to the outer wall of the building and a side unit combined with an adjacent molding material for the exterior of the building; a polyurea layer, which is made of polyurea and is coated on the outer surface of the body units; and a finishing layer, which is installed on the outer surface of the polyurea layer. According to the other embodiment of the present invention, provided is the molding material for the exterior of a building comprising the steps of: forming the body units, which are equipped with the rear unit combined to the outer wall of the building and the side unit combined to the molding material; longitudinally installing molding jigs, which are shaped corresponding to the side unit in a cross-section, side by side in the side unit; coating polyurea on the outer surface of the body units and the molding jigs and forming the polyurea layer; and removing the molding jigs. |
