The present invention provides a method for cultivating cowpea sprouts, the method facilitates development of functional foods for health improvement and increases productivity through the functional foods by simply cultivating the cowpea sprouts, and increases real incomes of farming families growing the cowpea sprouts since being generally useful in cultivating cowpea. The method for cultivating cowpea sprouts comprises a step for saturating raw seeds for a certain period of time, a step for washing the raw seeds after saturation, and a step for growing the raw seeds after washing, and then harvesting. The period for saturation of the raw seeds is 5 days, and the saturation is carried out at 20°C with 96±1% of moisture using a thermohygrostat, and the saturated and washed raw seeds are cultivated at 27°C for 4 days. |
