The present invention provides an alginate extraction method comprising the steps of: soaking a substrate in an acidic aqueous solution; drying the substrate which has been soaked; putting the substrate which has been dried into an alkaline aqueous solution to obtain a sample, and agitating the sample; and separating the sample which has been agitated into solid and liquid to obtain an extract.
