The present invention relates to a petroleum resin and a manufacturing method thereof and, more specifically, to a manufacturing method for a petroleum resin which can realize a manufacturing process and a yield capable of being put to practical use by manufacturing a petroleum resin by using an easily handled catalyst while solving the supply and demand problems of a raw material by replacing a part of C5 based monomers used as a raw material of an existing petroleum resin with another raw material; and to a petroleum resin manufactured by the manufacturing method. |
