The present invention relates to a protective cap for a beverage container for a child, which comprises: a cover unit (10) which opens or closes a spout placed at the fore-end of a container for a liquid beverage by attaching to or being detached from the spout through spiral fastening; and an outer cap unit (20) which is attached to the external surface of the cover unit in a concentric circle, where a fixed space is formed in an interval with the cover unit, and which allows air to flow in the up and down direction of the throat of a child even when the up and down cross section corresponding to a shaft direction adheres to the side wall of the throat during the spiral fastening of the cover unit. Therefore, the protective cap can protect a child from the danger of suffocation by allowing air to penetrate and to freely pass in the up and down direction of the throat even when a protective cap composed of the cover unit and the outer cap unit is swallowed by the child and hung at the throat. |
