A hardware healthcare gateway according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a message parser for transmitting and receiving a connection-related message, a presentation message, a response message, or a indication message with at least one personal health management device (PHD) supporting an HDP Bluetooth profile according to an IEEE 11073-20601 data exchange protocol standard and classifying received messages into the connection-related message and the presentation message; a connection processing unit for processing the connection-related message; a presentation processing unit for processing the presentation message; and a configuration DB for storing set states of the PHDs. A method for parsing a message in the healthcare gateway comprises the following steps. The message parser classifies an APDU extracted from the received message into the connection-related message and the presentation message.The message parser classifies the connection-related message into one among an association request (AARQ), a release request (RLRQ), an abort (ABRT), an association response (AARE), and a release response (RLRE). The message parser classifies the presentation message (PRST) into one among an event report (EventReport), a state result (GetResult), a set result (SetResult), and an action result (ActionResult), which occur in the PHDs. |
