The present invention relates to polyarylene ether comprising 1-3,000 ppm of anisole and 1-3,000 ppm of a mixed solvent, wherein the mixed solvent includes 100 parts by volume of alkyl alcohol of C1-C2 and 5-30 parts by volume of alkyl alcohol of C3-C6. The polyarylene ether has high yield since polyarylene ether oligomers are not attached to a reactor in polyarylene ether polymerization and is able to be manufactured by continuous polymerization.
