The invention relates to the coating means of vehicles. The method of safe transportation of dangerous loads according to the first embodiment of invention consists in that dangerous load is filled upinto the open box car to the level of its stereotyped load capacity and the surface of load is leveled to the drops not more than 300 mm, into the openings bored in the walls of open box car at the level of the stereotyped load capacity are set the splint pins, and fabric cover from difficultly burning material of polypropylene or from glass structural cloth is put on the surface of load, by means of strap the ends of the cover are secured to the splint pins by transmission the tapes through the opening in the edge of cover or loop at its edge and splint pin consecutively through all openings and splint pins in the said order on entire perimeter of cover and subsequent tension of this strap, and then awning on top is zigzag strapped by additional tape by drawing this tape from one wall of open box car across and from above the cover towards to another wall throughout the entire length of the cover.
