Provided is a sodium sulfur battery capable of increasing battery output by increasing a reaction surface area and improving battery stability. The battery includes: a positive electrode container that accommodates sulfur; a negative electrode container that accommodates sodium; an electrolytic pipe that is disposed between the positive electrode container and the negative electrode container and selectively moves only sodium ions; and an insulator that is disposed between the negative electrode container and the positive electrode container and insulates the negative electrode container and the positive electrode container. The electrolytic pipe is structured so that the width is relatively greater than the thickness, and the negative electrode container is shaped to correspond to the electrolytic pipe. The sodium sulfur battery further includes a sodium supply unit that is arranged outside the positive electrode container, accommodates sodium therein, and is connected to the negative electrode container to supply the sodium.
