Disclosed are a bidet and an alarming method for using the same. The bidet according to the present invention is mounted on a toilet seat and comprises: a seating sensor which is installed on the toilet seat and outputs a sensing signal by sensing whether a user sits on the toilet seat or not; an input unit for outputting a setting signal to set an alarm according to the manipulation of the user; a control unit for setting alarming conditions in response to the setting signal and outputting a control signal in response to the sensing signal; and an alarming unit for carrying out an alarm in response to the control signal.
