PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synchronize reproduction frames between a plurality of video information reproduction devices without requiring a special clock and control therefor, in a video information reproduction method for reproducing coded data, delivered through a network, and coded data from a storage medium.SOLUTION: The video information reproduction method includes: triggered by a content changeover notification, requesting a current reproduction time to a video information reproduction device to be synchronized (ST13); determining a reference reproduction time to be a criterion from the answered reproduction time (ST15); notifying the video information reproduction device of the reference reproduction time (ST16); and on the basis of the comparison result of the notified reference reproduction time with a reproduction time at the time point of the reproduction time request, increasing/decreasing a reproduction frame to adjust the reproduction time of the content (ST6). |
