PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy both of a focusing speed and focusing accuracy upon an autofocus adjustment action.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an imaging apparatus that includes: an imaging lens with a variable focal length; and a control part that can perform a contrast detection type autofocus adjustment action. A lens barrel includes: a movable frame that is disposed movably in an optical axis direction with respect to a stationary frame; a holding frame that is movable in the optical axis relatively to the movable frame, and holds a focus lens; a first drive part that includes a first stepping motor and a first screw and can drive the movable frame in the optical axis direction with respect to the stationary frame; and a second drive part that is provided on the movable frame, includes a second stepping motor and a second screw, and can drive the holding frame in the optical axis direction with respect to the movable frame. |
