<p>A method for displaying world time and a mobile terminal for the same are provided to encourage a user to recognize a time by displaying different background images according to periods of time in the case of displaying time information for a specific city. A mobile terminal for displaying world time comprises an input part(104) and a control part(106). In case a user selects a specific city through the input part, the control part outputs time information and a representative image for the selected city. Based on the time information, the control part displays different background images according to periods of time. In this case, the control part displays the time information and the representative image at the upper portion of the screen. Also the control part displays the menu to select the specific city at the lower portion of the screen.</p> |
