PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve further adhesion to the waist and leg of a wearer without damaging easiness of attachment/detachment.SOLUTION: A side panel 3 is used for a diaper covering the crotch of a wearer from the abdominal side to the back side by a sheet-like body part, and detachably connects the abdominal side end of the body part and the back side end of the body part to the right and left of the waist of a wearer. The side panel 3 includes: an expansion and contraction part E made of an expandable/contractable material, presenting a belt-like shape along one direction, and expandable/contractable in one direction; a fixation part (A) provided on one end side in the one direction in the expansion and contraction part E, and fixed to the back side end of the body part; and a detachable part B provided on the other end side in the one direction in the expansion and contraction part E, and detachably joined to the abdominal side end of the body part. A distance between the fixation part (A) and the detachable part B in a central position in a direction orthogonal to the one direction is larger than a distance between the fixation part (A) and the detachable part B in both side positions sandwiching the central position in a direction orthogonal to the one direction.
