PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-gloss fabric which has such a beautiful appearance as to have high-quality gloss, and also has such soft texture and strength as to be widely and suitably used for a clothing material, a building material and the like.SOLUTION: The high-gloss fabric is formed by: preparing a plain weave fabric which includes a warp that is at least formed of a hollow multifilament with 60 dtex or less and a weft formed of a multifilament having a fineness smaller than that of the warp, and has a cover factor of 1,000 or more and 3,000 or less; and subjecting the plain weave fabric to calender processing. Accordingly, the high-gloss fabric obtains a specular glossiness of 50% or more. |
