PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feature calculation device, a method, and a program that can represent a feature of a set of point group arrays while suppressing a data amount.SOLUTION: A feature calculation device includes an acquisition part, a first calculation part, and a second calculation part. The acquisition part acquires a point array group as a set of point arrays in which a plurality of points are in determined order. The first calculation part calculates a plurality of values associated with curvature of a shape specified with the plurality of point arrays constituting the point array group for each of the plurality of point arrays based upon reference points of the point arrays, and calculates a feature quantity based upon the plurality of calculated values. The second calculation part calculates a histogram representing a distribution of respective feature quantities of the plurality of point arrays. |
