<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake system enabling prevention of inflow of foreign matters from a vacuum pump to an intake system and reduction in operating noise of the pump.SOLUTION: A brake system 1 includes: a first passage L1 connected to a negative chamber of a brake booster 12 and an intake pipe 32 of an engine; a second passage L2 branched from the first passage L1; an electric vacuum pump 18 installed on the second passage L2; a first check valve 20 for preventing either one of inflow of fluid from the intake pipe side to the negative chamber side via the first passage L1 or inflow of fluid from the intake pipe side to the negative chamber side via the second passage L2; and a second check valve 22 for preventing inflow of fluid from the intake pipe side to the negative chamber side via the first passage L1 and preventing inflow of fluid from the intake pipe side and a discharge port side of a pump portion 120 to a suction port side via the first passage L1. A filter 40 is installed between a discharge port 127 of the electric vacuum pump 18 and the suction pipe 32.</p> |
