PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and stably transmit vibration generated by a piezoelectric element or a super-magnetostrictive element to a diaphragm.SOLUTION: A vibration generating apparatus includes: a vibration element that contracts corresponding to a driving signal; a vibration transmitter that intermediates between at least one side of the vibration element and a diaphragm, and point-contacts with at least one side of the vibration element and the diaphragm, respectively; and a pre-pressure portion that applies pressure in an expanding direction of the vibration element and one direction of a contracting direction. The vibration generating apparatus is arranged at least one surface of the diaphragm and a speaker is constructed.
