PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a pressure loss of an exhaust chamber by weakening the force of an eddy current generated in the exhaust chamber, or by eliminating the eddy current to improve turbine performance.SOLUTION: This axial flow turbine 51 comprises a turbine rotor blade 53 attached to a turbine shaft 52, and a turbine housing 54 for rotatably accommodating the turbine rotor blade 53 and having an exhaust chamber 57 and an exhaust chamber outlet part 58 at the outlet side of the turbine rotor blade 53. The turbine housing 54 includes a flow guide part 61 arranged in the exhaust chamber 58 and guiding an exhaust gas flow G passing through the turbine rotor blade 53 along an inner wall of the exhaust chamber 57, and a wake prevention plate 71 formed in the circumferential direction at the external peripheral side of the flow guide part 61. There is formed, at the wake prevention plate 71, a lower notch 73 which is formed at a lower half part 74 being an opposite side with respect to the outlet part 58 with a horizontal line X passing through the rotation center O of the turbine shaft 52 and parallel with the outlet part 58 interposed therebetween. |
