<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbocharger for allowing easy positioning and fixation of an outer ring when mounting a ball bearing unit on a body housing, thus causing no vibration of a rotating shaft.SOLUTION: A minimal clearance is provided between the body housing and the outer ring of the ball bearing unit for allowing the positioning using a positioning pin, so that an oil film damper is formed to enable a bearing housing to be moved in the axial direction of the positioning pin. Thus, the vibration of the rotating shaft can be absorbed even during high-speed rotation, and easy positioning and fixation of the ball bearing unit relative to the body housing are allowed because of the positioning using the positioning pin.</p> |
