PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and surely determine an abnormal state such as a local fire and an abnormal state such as a global fire in a monitoring area on the basis of temperatures shown by observation results to be able to give an alarm.SOLUTION: An alarm 100-1 with a sensor is arranged in a prescribed monitoring area A, and observation chips 10-11 and 10-12 are installed in the same monitoring area A. The alarm 100-1 outputs a fire alarm when detecting an abnormal state from its observation value shown by the observation result of the entire monitoring area A. The alarm 100-1 further receives an observation signal including data indicative of observation values of prescribed local areas A1 and A2 in the monitoring area A, which are obtained by the observation chips 10-11 and 10-12. When detecting an abnormal state from the observation values, the alarm 100-1 increases sensitivity for its observation value to detect a fire and decreases sensitivity for the observation values received from the observation chips 10-11 and 10-12 to detect a fire. |
