PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connection device capable of excellently, optically connecting optical components.SOLUTION: An optical waveguide part article 21 comprises: an optical fiber component 11 including a fixed chip 12 having first V-grooves 14 and 15 for pins arranged in a longitudinal direction on the lateral side of a V-groove 13a for fibers, an optical fiber 16a inserted in the first V-groove 13a for fibers and guide pins 17 and 18 having ends projected and inserted to the first V-grooves 14 and 15 for pins; a substrate 22 having second V-grooves 27 and 28 for pins inserting the ends of the guide pins 17 and 18 into any one of a plurality of continuous stages 27a-27c and 28a-28c having a width gradually, narrowly varied toward the inside from the end part; and an optical waveguide 23a formed on the lateral side of the second V-grooves 27 and 28 for pins in the substrates 22 and optically connected to end parts of the optical fibers 16a-16d. |
