<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a multifunctional portable terminal as a substitute for an electronic key of a keyless system for vehicle.SOLUTION: A first radio communication part 20 of a portable terminal 10 and a second radio communication part 60 of an on-vehicle machine 50 make Bluetooth(R) radio communication. A distance estimation part 34 that the portable terminal 10 has estimates the distance D between the portable terminal 10 and on-vehicle machine 50 and a motion detection part 38 that the portable terminal 10 has detects motion of the portable terminal 10. An intermittent period arithmetic part 40 sets an intermittent period C of the radio communication between the portable terminal 10 and on-vehicle machine 50 based upon the distance D between the portable terminal 10 and on-vehicle machine 50 and the magnitude M of the motion of the portable terminal.</p> |
