<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing graphene oxide as a manufacturing intermediate for easily manufacturing graphene.SOLUTION: The method includes (1) a step of preparing suspension containing sulfonated graphite by conducting laser ablation on reaction medium containing 90 to 98 mass% of sulfuric acid in the presence of a solid acid catalyst for sulfonation, and then adding 60 to 98 mass% of nitric acid and strong oxidation agent with agitation, and (2) a step of hydrolysis of the sulfonated graphite by adding water and 25 to 40 mass% of hydrochloric acid to the resulting suspension.</p> |
