<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reinforcing a hollow pipe body, not requiring installation of a hollow pipe inner fixing device and pushup of a cylindrical inner wall reinforcement sheet by a wire, in the method for sticking the cylindrical inner wall reinforcement sheet in the hollow pipe via a hole opened from a side face thereof.SOLUTION: A method for reinforcing a hollow pipe body includes: a reinforcement sheet insertion step in which a long balloon body being extensively over the approximately overall length of the reinforcement sheet is finely folded inside the cylindrical reinforcement sheet made of a fabric formed of high strength fibers, and the reinforcement sheet is inserted into the hollow pipe body from a lower end side thereof through an opening opened in the side face of the hollow pipe body; and a reinforcement sheet sticking step in which the balloon body is inflated by injecting air thereinto after the reinforcement sheet insertion step, and the reinforcement sheet is stuck inside the hollow pipe body by applying force from the inside to the outside of the reinforcement sheet.</p> |
