ROLLING MILL AND ROLLING METHOD

Provided are an apparatus and a method for rolling a super thick steel plate capable of rolling a super thick steel plate by applying larger rolling pressure within the limited capacity of a mill, and deforming a super thick steel plate toward the central part in a thickness direction. The apparatus for rolling a super thick steel plate comprises a transferring table transferring a material; and a rolling unit installed on the transferring table to roll the material. The rolling unit includes a different shaped mill having different shaped rolls which have the diameters of the central parts relatively larger than that of the both side parts to pressure the central part of the material in an axial direction.
