PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet delivery apparatus in which the occurrence of paper sheet loading abnormality can be suppressed.SOLUTION: A sheet delivery apparatus 1 includes: a sheet delivery stage 3 which can rise and fall and which includes a paper sheet P loading surface formed so that both sides are higher than the central part in the paper sheet P width direction orthogonal to the sheet delivery direction of the paper sheet P to be delivered; an upper surface detection sensor 9 for detecting existence or nonexistence of the paper sheet P at a position to be of reference of a height position at the central part in the paper sheet P width direction at the uppermost surface of the paper sheet P loaded on the paper sheet P loading surface; a sheet delivery part 2 for delivering the paper sheet P to the sheet delivery stage 3; and a control part for performing, during sheet delivery operation by the sheet delivery part 2, control of lowering the sheet delivery stage 3 by a prescribed amount every time when prescribed sheets have been delivered from the beginning of sheet delivery until the upper surface detection sensor 9 detects the paper sheet P, and lowering the sheet delivery stage 3 by a prescribed amount every time when prescribed sheets have been delivered from detection of the paper sheet P after the upper surface detection sensor 9 detects the paper sheet P. |
